The City of Champions
Jonathan is a web developer for a technology firm in Houston, Texas. He has an M.S. in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh (2007) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech (1995). He also studied at the University of Salamanca in Spain and speaks Spanish at an advanced level. In his free time he enjoys watching sports, working out, speaking Spanish, playing his Playstation 3, and listening to music. His goal with this website is to continue practicing creating websites from templates (don't re-invent the wheel, right?) and ultimately tutor people who have an interest in creating websites. He is also open to take on independent projects. This website contains information about him, both personal and professional, including work experience and course work he has taken. The home page contains some articles of interest which may be relevant to news, sports, or IT. Enjoy the site, and hasta luego.
The School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is a great program for students who are have a knack for computers and are looking at getting into the IT field. When I started I knew very little about computers, but the background from Pitt really has helped me to become fluent with certain areas of web development.
